TEDxUniversityOfTartu

Ideas worth spreading from Estonia’s academic capital

June 2 2026 University of Tartu Delta Centre, Estonia

About the event

The Hidden Layers of Our Lives

At TEDxUniversity of Tartu, live speakers and TED Talks come together to spark curiosity, inspire action, and create a space for deep discussion. The theme of the event, “The Hidden Layers of Our Lives”, explores the systems, emotions, technologies, habits, and invisible forces that quietly shape the way we think, work, connect, and live. Through conversations on science, psychology, society, leadership, AI, health, and human behaviour, the event invites the audience to look beyond the surface and rethink the hidden structures behind everyday life.

About TEDx

In the spirit of discovering and spreading ideas, TED has created a program called TEDx

TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxUniversity of Tartu, where x = independently organized TED event

At our TEDxUniversity of Tartu event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized
